the-creative-exchange-Vn_j28AxFL0-unspla

Purpose: Quantify by ICP-AES several elements present in different types of oils (hydraulic, motor, heat transfer, etc.) coming from additives or detecting the wear of certain mechanical components

Approach: Dilute samples in a given solvent and quantify them by ICP using a calibration curve with external calibration.

ICP-AES

the-creative-exchange-Vn_j28AxFL0-unspla

Purpose: Obtain the infrared spectrum of oil samples in order to monitor several parameters such as the quantity of antioxidants, oxidation of the oil, the presence of water, soot, glycol, nitrates, anti -wear, ester, sulfates, diesel, gasoline or contaminants.

Infrared (FTIR)

the-creative-exchange-Vn_j28AxFL0-unspla

Purpose: Potentiometric titration for the determination of the basic constituents of a lubricant. Allows observation of the change in alkaline reserve that occurs when the lubricant is used and subjected to oxidizing conditions.

TBN

the-creative-exchange-Vn_j28AxFL0-unspla

Goal: Determine the number and size of particles present in oils in order to evaluate their wear.

Approach: The samples are diluted in an appropriate solvent and analyzed with the particle counter to obtain their ISO code.

Compteur de particules

the-creative-exchange-Vn_j28AxFL0-unspla

Purpose: Potentiometric titration for the determination of the acidic constituents of a lubricant. Allows observation of the change in acidity number that occurs when the lubricant is used and subjected to oxidative conditions.

TAN

the-creative-exchange-Vn_j28AxFL0-unspla

Goal: Determine the number and size of particles present in oils in order to evaluate their wear.

Approach: The samples are diluted in an appropriate solvent and analyzed with the particle counter to obtain their ISO code.
